CONTAMINATED LAND - Senior Consultant
Established for over 10 years in Melbourne with a list of long-standing clients, a lot of goodwill and a strong presence in the market, this dedicated team of over 20 contaminated land professionals is handling a number of major soil and groundwater contamination assessment and remediation projects not just in VIC, but all the way up the East Coast, plus SA and Tas. As one of the Senior members of the team, you will be handling: - Project Management;
- Client Management;
- Business Development; and
- Mentoring of junior staff for these projects.

2IC: Very Senior- Principal Environmental Engineer: Enjoy Giving Strategic Direction to the Group.
Senior-Principal Environmental Engineer: Responsibility, Control & Project Variety?
($145K - $115K)
- 2IC/Principal - lead across multiple teams (total 10 people) in contaminated land and remediation.
- Primary projects include the remediation of manufacturing and industrial sites – 60% of their work is petrochem – Solid split of project variety.
- Just landed a big audit job for the residential development on an industrial site which would be your first port-of-call.
Oversee the smooth operation multiple projects with different deadlines: - Development of strategies and designs for meeting client objectives and carrying out projects.
- Communicate results, budget and schedule information directly to client.
- Technical peer reviews and technical guidance on projects – Oversee vacuum extraction events, chemical injection & feeder system events.
10% bonus of your base salary every 6 months based on KPIs as set by you and the director at the beginning of the period. With 8+ years experience with Contaminated Lands work,Tertiary level qualifications in BSc/BEng and experience with Remediation design and implementation, Project Management and site investigations, you're perfect for this role.

Senior Environmental Engineer:
StrategicTeam Leader
($145K - $110K) Lead the strategic planning and people management functions of a holistic approach to contaminated sites as you head an enviro team 8 strong.
You'll enjoy technically advicing and mentoring your team as you develope strategies and designs for carrying out projects - Optimise team utilisation.
Having just landed a major petroleum contract you'll have job security with years worth of work in the pipeline. However these guys DO NOT PIGEON HOLE PEOPLE...
On that note... you'll only spend 40% of your time on the recent petroleum contract with the remaining 60% of time spent on miscellaneous contam work - Enjoy project variety and broadening your knowledge and skill set in a management capacity.
You'll need good insight into large site investigation contracts, contaminated land site investigation techniques, resident engineer roles, risk assessment procedures and factual and interpretive report writing. A nice opportunity for a +6 year environmental engineer/scientist to make the transition into a more management based role.

Clients include mining, telecommunications, state agencies, defence, manufacturing, rail yards and one of the new desalination plants. Requirements:
8+ years experience in contaminated land consulting. Related Science or Engineering Degree. Melbourne exp.
